Scholarship of Appreciation

Value: Waive Om Al-Qura school fees for one year Number of scholarships per year: one

Criteria:

  1. Spent at least one full year with Om Al-Qura school.
  2. Demonstration of superior academic achievement.
  3. Demonstration of respect to school and the learning environment
  4. Demonstration of parents’ engagement with the school activities
  5. Valid reason for applying for the scholarship

Funded by: Om Al-Qura school Application/Nomination Procedure: By nomination from the class teacher.

Scholarship of Support

Value: Waive Om Al-Qura school fees for one year Number of scholarships per year: One or more depending on available scholarships from the community contributions

Criteria:

  1. Spent at least one full year with Om Al-Qura school.
  2. Demonstration of acceptable academic achievement.
  3. Demonstration of respect to school and the learning environment
  4. Demonstration of regular attendance to school
  5. Demonstration of parents’ engagement with the school activities
  6. Valid reason for applying for the scholarship – Eligible for Zakat or Sadaqa funds

Funded by: Community members and/or OMA Please ask school administration for the application

Note: Scholarship contributers are invited to follow up with the school on how the scholarships are used and on the progress of anonymous students receiving the scholarship.
